Business Manager – IT
With over 30 years in the IT industry, Grant brings a wealth of experience and a practical, down-to-earth approach to helping clients navigate technology challenges.
Starting his career as a junior technician in Mount Maunganui, he worked his way through every level of the industry – from hands-on technical roles to managing service teams, and eventually into sales and business management.
Grant’s background includes two decades with a leading IT retailer, a stint as a sports bookmaker with the New Zealand Racing Board (where he honed his skills in probability and statistics), and a business development role with a major IT distributor.
Since joining Caduceus in 2020, Grant has focused on supporting small and medium businesses, helping them plan strategically and find solutions tailored to their needs. He understands how overwhelming IT can be and prides himself on listening first, then working alongside clients to achieve their goals – never forcing a one-size-fits-all answer.
Grant loves spending time with his family, whether it’s relaxing at home or heading out for a weekend adventure. He is a keen darts player, competing at club and representative level, and enjoys a round of golf with mates whenever he can. He values teamwork, both in the office and on the green, and believes the best results come from supporting each other.
