Director – Design Technology
Grant’s knowledge of the design and draughting needs of New Zealand’s architectural, engineering and construction sectors is second to none. For 30+ years he’s been on a mission to demystify the technology that helps these industries succeed. This led him to becoming a part owner of Caduceus in 2008.
A passion for design and technology sits at the heart of Grant’s work. He has significant experience in CAD systems and Building Information Management and has led teams to deliver innovation on projects of all sizes across Aotearoa. He loves nothing more than diving into design‑technology adoption, implementation and digital workflows. Grant doesn’t just introduce new tools; he equips people with the expert understanding, training and practical knowledge to use those tools confidently, so projects can run smoothly and efficiently.
He’s an experienced operator of Autodesk® systems, including AutoCAD, Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and is known for lifting drawing productivity, establishing effective management procedures, and facilitating training that sticks.
Outside of work, Grant is a kaiarahi with his local Sea Scout group. He loves everything scouting has to offer– sailing, camping, tramping, and especially the learning and personal development opportunities available to young and old alike. If there’s a campfire involved, chances are Grant will be found cooking on it.
